Shaji Appukuttan
art heart is delighted to be associated with Shaji Appukuttan. Born in 1969, and grew up in
the scenic disctrict of Ernakulam, Kochi. Shaji Appukuttan has a Bachelors in Fine Arts
(Drawing & Painting) from Govt. Fine Arts College, Thrissur, Kerala, in the year 1990. Shaji
Appukuttan has been painting since 1990 and has been a part of numerous Group
Exhibitions and Solo Shows in India. Shaji Appukuttan has received many awards for his
noted works, including the State award from Kerala Lalithakala Akademi,1992 and his
works now belong to many private & corporate collections. Shaji Appukuttan has been
teaching Visual arts at KMEA College of Architecture, Pookkattupadi, Ernakulam, since
1989 and has worked for the film ‘Cotton Marrie’ directed by Ismail Merchant.
