How do you confirm the authenticity of the artworks?

All artworks are authentic and original, as they have been painted, in front of our team, at the annual art camps which are conducted by us. This is documented in our videos. Each artwork is supported by an authenticity certificate by the artist. The artist claims that the artwork is original and does not infringe the copyright of any other person.

Are the artworks available as prints?

All the works on art heart are original, handmade and unique artworks. They are not digital, they are not reproduced in the form of serigraphs, prints or any other format, once sold.

Is a certificate of authenticity provided?

All artworks for sale on art heart come with a certificate of authenticity that is signed by the artist.

The work I wanted is no longer available or Reserved - can I commission a similar work?

A number of our artists accept commissions so please get in touch, if the work you love is no longer available or is Reserved, art heart can facilitate the process, of commissioning art works.

I would like to see the art work before I purchase, can I do so?

We encourage you to schedule your visit to our gallery, where you can see the artwork before purchase. You can call us or drop us an email / message to schedule an appointment. We also organise camps and priority viewing are organised post our camps.

Is framing available for all works?

Absolutely. Sometimes the artist has already chosen a frame, which we can send you a photo of. If the work is not framed, when you make a purchase, you can let us know that you want the work framed. We can get the artwork framed, depending upon the availability of the frame, before delivery.

Who is responsible for the cost of framing?

When the artwork is already framed, then the frame is a part of the work and therefore the cost of the frames is included in the price. When the work is unframed, artheart offers framing at additional cost and you will be charged for this, as per actuals, in addition to of the artwork.

Do you offer recommendations and advice?

Yes, we do introduce collectors to our entire collection. This way we promote art and artist’s and help you get the perfect art work for your home or corporate needs.

Do I have to pay for the Art Advisory service?

Not at all – it is a key part of our mission to introduce collectors to artworks.

I want to give art as a present but I don't know what to choose. What can I do?

It’s a great idea to give art as a gift! However, it can be tricky to choose an artwork for another person, even if you know them well. There are two options to help you give a unique gift: we can talk about the person you want to give art to, and think about what they like and what would suit their home. Then we can offer you a personalised selection within your budget.

The other option: give them a Gift Card for an amount of your choice. With each gift card, we offer personalised advice, to help them choose an artwork they’ll love.

How can I check the size of the artwork?

The dimensions of the work are specified on the artwork page. Please get in touch with us for any additional queries relating to the artwork or the artist and we are here to help. We can also send you images of the artwork to give you a better idea of the dimensions of the work.

Is the image on the site an accurate representation of the artwork?

Yes, the image is a photographic representation of the actual artwork, but it has no contract value. We can send you additional images of the artwork on request. As much effort as we may take, the colours may slightly vary. We strive for a high degree of image accuracy. However, in some cases, the visual representation may be approximate. Occasionally, minor variations occur because the photograph may not be able to capture the exact colours. Colours may also vary depending upon the viewing device.

How accurate are the dimensions listed on the site?

We use inches as the unit of measurement of the artwork. Though we take all care to provide precise dimensions of all artworks on our website, there could be a deviation of up to 1 inch.

How do I buy art from art heart?

To buy an artwork, you have to select the artwork from our publication’s section/ online journals or the virtual art gallery.  Drop us a message or give us a call. We will schedule a visit to our gallery, where you can see the artwork before making the purchase.

 

The cost of every artwork includes a certain portion to be paid to a registered Charitable organisation. The donations can be made by the purchaser, in his/her or organization’s name, towards any Registered Charitable Organizations of your choice. The copy of the donation receipt/s towards charity has to be mailed to art heart within fifteen days of the intimation / confirmation email from art heart.

 

We deliver your artwork, on receipt of payment of the remaining amount by art heart.  

 

We are not affiliated with any Charitable organisation, but we can recommend one, based on your requirement.

How will I know how much my order will cost?

After you’ve selected the artworks, you will have to communicate your choice to us vide a message or call. We will provide you a quote and conditions, by email. We will send you a total order, which will include all shipping costs to your selected national or international destination, and any applicable duties and taxes imposed by the customs and revenue authorities in the destination country.

How do I claim tax benefit on the donations made by me?

The original receipt/s is to be preserved by the purchaser, as the tax benefits for the donation can be claimed by the purchaser, in accordance to the provisions of the Income Tax Act. You may claim relief as per the applicable tax laws.

How much GST is applicable?

The donation amount excludes GST. GST ( as applicable, currently 12% ) would be applicable only on the amount of consideration, paid for the painting, to art heart.

What are the accepted methods of payment?

Cheques, Bank transfers, Demand drafts are all acceptable modes of payment.

Are there any delivery charges?

No delivery charges are applicable to deliveries within Mumbai and Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Delivery charges to any location, outside of Mumbai would be charged as per actuals, which is calculated based on the destination and the size of the work.

How are the artworks packaged?

Standardised packaging is provided by art heart. We take care to make sure the work is properly protected during transit.

Which countries do you deliver to?

We deliver to most countries around the world, or in any case all countries that our delivery companies operate in! Any concerns? Do not hesitate to contact us, as we will be able to find a solution for delivery – even if you live on a desert island!

What are “Reserved” artworks?

An artwork is reserved when the interested collector needs additional time to complete their purchase. An artwork can be reserved for up to 30 days, unless we’ve made an agreement with the collector for the work to be reserved for a longer period of time.
